Baby It's fact,

Our love is true, the way black is black, and blue is just blue. (Hellogoodbye-yeah, I'm late on that fad)

I love that song! It sorta inspired this outfit here. I don't know why I'm making that face. But I do know why there's a light spot! IT IS SUNNY AGAIN! You have no idea how happy I am about that. The weather was breathtaking today. The sun was shining but it was chilly with a nice breeze. Honestly, I smiled almost all day.
I hated these shorts until I found out two things-1) obviously, they look better cuffed, 2) the match my pink tights! That remedied the problem.
Today really has been a good day, although I have a lot left to do. I have to take a test, do some math, clean my room (hehe you know that post about cleaning my room more often....yeah that didn't happen), write haikus (which I will post on here tomorrow), read 1st Peter 1 again, and go to jazz! Yay!
I'm getting more and more excited about preview weekend up at Covenant College. I know it's just a big hype and all, but hey, it's literally a vacation! I mean, I get to spend two days up on a mountain that has beautiful weather AND beautiful scenery (not to mention fun people).
I need to go eat something now and take that history test. Have a fantastical rest of the day, loves.

Oh Brother

My dear brother finally had a reception. Their cake was lovely, not to mention delicious. I got to hang out with all three of my brothers. Ha. They really are fun people. My internet has been acting up so I do not know how much I'll be able to post this week...We'll see.
I quite love this old bow that I found. I'm beginning to have a passion for off-white. It's such a calm, soothing color.I love this red skirt-It has pockets! I didn't get around to taking pictures until a couple minutes ago...that's why it's lame. I did some editing to make it look more interesting. I can't believe the weekend's already over! Monday is TOMORROW!? My mom found this pearly vest yesterday at a garage sale for fifty cents! I immediately adopted it as my own...She informs me that it's HERS though. Ha, I'll buy it off of her for a couple quarters... =) I hope your Monday is as nice as a Monday can be, loves.

When I last saw Mary,

She lied and said it was her birthday...

*sigh* Oh Charlie Fink, I really do love you! (I'm talking about Noah and the Whale...)

This is outside of my civil war reenactment tent. It was drying out due to the horrible rain it faced last weekend.

These pants used to be self-respecting corduroys..until I hodge-podged in them. I got glue all over them. I made the mistake of "peeling" one of the glue-spots off. I ended up peeling off the courduroyness as well. So they sat in my closet...until last week! I took in the seams in the bottom-making them straight-jeans (they used to be flares) and attacked them with a cheese-grader. I'm not so sure if the cheese-grader thing was my best idea ever, I ended up with fuzz all over my room. Anyway, I spent about a week sewing patches behind the holes. I quite like them now. =)

Oh how I love community college...

I really do. As unbelievable as that is... I also am totally in love with "Community" the show on NBC. The show uses songs by Matt and Kim! (who, if you haven't heard...you should listen to, right away) I ended up watching it because it was after "The Office" ..which I love as well. I'm really not much of a TV watcher...so it's amazing I'm even talking about this.

AnyWHO, I had a wonderful day today. That's partially due to my photography class. My classmate Olivia made me smile...haha My teacher said "I smell an herbal aroma" (talking about weed) and Olivia leaned over and was like "does he mean someone's lotion or something?"...Oh dearie me.

I felt kinda like a cowgirl today as well...which for some reason, made me feel empowered.

Also! I think I'm going to finally try and get on weardrobe.com...again. And Flickr. YAY! So, just letting you know... Have a fantastic Friday!

What I need to do more often...and mom jeans

The zipper on these pants is like a mile long...

So here's the deal... I MISS BLOGGING! I know I don't have a billion followers or whatever, but still...I miss it.

So here's a list of things I'm going to do more often:
1) Blog! My life is fairly interesting right now...so I will have fairly interesting things to write about.

2) Play my ukulele. It has come to my attention that the Ukulele is an amazing instrument that I need to master.

3) Clean my room! Jeez, it's a mess! I can't believe it...

There...three things that I NEED to do.

So anyway, I have to go now, but I'm promising more blog posts as soon as possible...

What My Heartbeat Wants...

I've had a wonderful week so far. Yesterday was one of those days that dragged on and on and never seemed to end. But today was so much different. I had the best day I've had in a while. I loved it. I processed film in photography today. I was pretty pleased with my negatives. Anyway, have a wonderful week. =)

Streetstyle: Swingfest

Jenny is too cute =)
I love his red pants ♥

I love both of these dresses-so vintage. Both of these gals were very sweet =)

I mentioned that there were some wonderful people there... Next time I do streetstyle, I'll remember to get people's names. I feel horrible about that...

Swingfest 2009

These are some fun pictures Sara took of me!

I attended Swingfest downtown for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was! The atmosphere and the music was great. Also, the people that came were pretty great themselves. It was a perfect night with perfect weather...

I've put off uploading all these pictures from Sara and I's Heritage Park outing. We took SOOO many. But, I needed to start sometime...

Anyway, the first day of Chatt State was actually quite fun. I love my photography teacher and I can't wait to get started. How are you?
