Inspiration

...It came from two different wonderful things today.

The first, an adorable human being named Pradip Malde . I went and saw his works today. They literally stole my breath. The depths of the grays in his photos are overwhelmingly comforting and striking at the same time. Not to mention he's a wonderful person as well. When he talked to us about his works, he wasn't just saying how he photographed or the process, he spoke about life. I really cannot put it into words, but know this, it was beautiful.

The second, a person who is HIV positive being joyful and sharing that joy through purely joyous clothing. I don't know what hit me, but that's the first time I've cried over something on television...in probably forever.

Have a lovely, Inspiring, Friday!

Are they laughing at or with me?

I love Amy.
I love making cookies.
I love the sign in Amy's kitchen that says "prayer changes things"
and I loved this weekend.
Now to tackle the week.

P.s. Mrs. Mindy, it's not letting me comment on anything, I don't think. When I "view my blog" it shows the page as if I wasn't logged in...

Little Lion Man

Weep for yourself, my man,
you'll never be what is in your heart
weep little lion man,
you're not as brave as you were at the start
rate yourself and rake yourself,
take all the courage you have left
wasted on fixing all the problems
that you made in your own head

I haven't really blogged about life recently, it's mostly been pictures.
In a nutshell, life has been nice. A balance between good and stressed. I feel more excited to live and create than I have in a long time. I hope that lasts. How are you?

p.s. Mrs. Mindy, that is a frog on my brother's glasses. Blogger has been dumb, it hasn't let me comment on anything....

Oh Bright Star

Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.- John Keats

Sin had left a crimson stain

1. I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”
* Refrain:
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
2. For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim;
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.
3. And now complete in Him,
My robe, His righteousness,
Close sheltered ’neath His side,
I am divinely blest.
4. Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.
5. When from my dying bed
My ransomed soul shall rise,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
Shall rend the vaulted skies.
6. And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I’ll lay my trophies down,
All down at Jesus’ feet.
