I'm still in texas!

Well, I am officially ready to go home. I do like it here and such...but Texas is really apart of my past...you know? I lived here 'til I was SEVEN for heaven sakes! I went to West Side Story at a local theatre and saw one of my many "older brothers" (he isn't really...he's my older brother's friend...but he feels like my older brother) star as Tony. He did a fantastic job. The set was really well done as well. West Side Story is so sad! I love it, but the ANGER and HATE that the gangs have for eachother is just...saddening. What's also VERY sad is that, though the play is dramatasized and a little bit romantisized as well, that was and IS a reality for many young people. They're apart of a gang. They belong for a while. They get shot.

It's horrific.

On a lighter note, I went to Town Square with my mom and little sister today. We all met one of my mom's old friends for lunch. Then, I was free to roam about the shopping center. I was looking for Delia's (love that place) and I stumbled upon a store called Anthrapologie. So maybe I'm just slow and don't get out enough...but I hadn't ever heard of it. When I walked in it seemed like the angels in the heavens were singing. I LOVE THAT STORE. I would've bought one of every single thing except...I have no money. I literally have $5 left...oh dear. I seriously don't know what I'm going to do. Luckily...the trip is almost over. In addition to that, everything was SUPER expensive. I was drooling over this little vintagy dress...then I looked at the price tag...$129.95! Are you kidding me? I mean, I'm a frugal girl and all, but when I see something I REALLY love, I'll pay for it. But that's a little rediculous. Oh well, I still am having a love affair with that store.

I miss everyone in Chatters. I can't wait to go home!

OH...I felt like a major fashionista walking around Town Square today. =) Multiple times people turned around and I could hear them say "I love her dress!" Haha The girl in Delia's even asked me where I bought it. I was more than happy to tell her...My local thrift store. Just goes to show, you can be stylish and frugal at the same time.

I'm going bowling tonight with an old friend Taylor and HER friends...for the first time in my life, I'm feeling insecure. Whatever. I hope I have a good time.

I'll see you in 6 days!
