Oh Charlie. I love you so.

Today I watched a little documentary on the making of Noah and the Whale's album Last Night on Earth. Then there was a little cyber-chat thing where people could ask questions and Charlie Fink would answer.
These are my favorite answers:

Above all, this is my favorite question/answer:

Charlie, how is your hair made so perfect? We all want to know!

3 things from the Chatt State Library

Surprise! I'm actually in the library, waiting for Jenny to be done with class.
So yeah, reminds me of old times to be thinking up 3 happy things to share.

1)I am absolutely loving the new Ruche Lookbook

I only wish I could afford everything in the magazine.

2) I love that last night,my brother and I had a music swap. So now, I have plenty of new music to keep me busy. My current favorite from what he gave me is this

3) I'm so excited about taking Jenny's and I's (grammar?) senior portraits today. I have a lot of ideas and can't wait to get shooting. Also, it's exciting that this will be the 3rd time in a week Jen's come to spend the night at my house.

So yay, three things! I will probably be uploading a photo post later today, so let me apologize in advance for two posts in one day.

L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.

I had forgotten how much I loved Noah and the Whale until I heard their new single. Their music never stops being joyful and encouraging.

"Peaceful the World Lays Me Down", with its adorable whistling and use of Ukulele, is one of my favorite albums. "The First Days of Spring" is a glorious album with a more orchestrated feel (especially in the song "Love of an Orchestra").
And now "Last Night on Earth", with this song. That tells us that life goes on and not to be discouraged. So great.

So if you like curly headed singers named Charlie, Ukulele, Whales, or just plain good music, you should definitely check out Noah and the Whale.

Oh dreary days, why are you back again? I was all in grey and black and such on Sunday...how depressing.
Today I was channeling the 80's with all my might. haha I had my hair in a high ponytail...but that was too much. I have such an exciting story to tell!

Okay, so remember the film that I messed up at Covenant!? I processed it this morning, just to see what would happen and (drum roll) IT WAS FINE! I only lost about six pictures. The rest will be a little grey, because light hit the film, but I still HAVE them to work with. It was so obviously a miracle. God is so loving and good. Well I really don't have much time to do much. I need to go to sleep and finish homework. I have an extremely early morning again tomorrow. I promise I'll finish posting pictures from Saturday with Sara...sometime! =D

I will post more tomorrow, Lovelies.

OH-Announcement: Noah and the Whale's new cd was released in the US today! hooray! =) So go buy it.

When I last saw Mary,

She lied and said it was her birthday...

*sigh* Oh Charlie Fink, I really do love you! (I'm talking about Noah and the Whale...)

This is outside of my civil war reenactment tent. It was drying out due to the horrible rain it faced last weekend.

These pants used to be self-respecting corduroys..until I hodge-podged in them. I got glue all over them. I made the mistake of "peeling" one of the glue-spots off. I ended up peeling off the courduroyness as well. So they sat in my closet...until last week! I took in the seams in the bottom-making them straight-jeans (they used to be flares) and attacked them with a cheese-grader. I'm not so sure if the cheese-grader thing was my best idea ever, I ended up with fuzz all over my room. Anyway, I spent about a week sewing patches behind the holes. I quite like them now. =)
